At a status conference held this morning (February 22, 2021), Magistrate Judge Bly set a briefing schedule to decide objections of the group of Direct Investors who previously appealed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. The objecting group must file their brief and evidence by April 30, 2021. The Receiver’s counsel will respond by May 20, and the objecting group may file a reply brief by June 3. We expect this Court to schedule a hearing soon after June 3 to hear oral arguments of counsel, and to render a decision after that hearing. Please continue to check here for updates.
